Burj Khalifa — The World's Tallest Tower

Burj Khalifa  known as Burj Dubai prior to its inauguration, is a skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is the tallest manmade structure in the world, at 829.84 m (2,723 ft). Construction began on 21 September 2004, with the exterior of the structure completed on 1 October 2009. The building officially opened on 4 January 2010, and is part of the new 2 km2 (490-acre) flagship development called Downtown Dubai at the 'First Interchange' along Sheikh Zayed Road, near Dubai's main business district. The tower's architecture and engineering were performed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill of Chicago, with Adrian Smith as chief architect, and Bill Baker as chief structural engineer. The primary contractor was Samsung C&T of South Korea.
The total cost for the project was about US$1.5 billion; and for the entire "Downtown Dubai" development, US$20 billion. In March 2009, Mohamed Ali Alabbar, chairman of the project's developer, Emaar Properties, said office space pricing at Burj Khalifa reached US$4,000 per sq ft (over US$43,000 per m²) and the Armani Residences, also in Burj Khalifa, sold for US$3,500 per sq ft (over US$37,500 per m²).

Best first class airlines

There is nothing better than flying first class. Every kind of luxury that you can think of from champagne, Bulgari toilet kits, course meals to concierge for easy passage in check in counter is experienced by a first class flier. Today airlines are competing over creating a top class experience for passengers. They are striving to have that wow factor.

Singapore Airlines

One of the best first class airlines is Singapore airlines where fliers will be offered champagne and they are given sleep suits. They also have large bathrooms. The seats can be turned into beds with oversized pillows.

Singapore Airlines

Singapore Airlines
Emirates are turning their first class into mini suites. Their airplanes have sliding doors so passengers are given privacy.

Cathay Pacific

For Cathay pacific, skillets and rice cookers are found on board so meals are made to order and very fresh. According to experts, these amenities will entice passengers to spend money for the hefty fares. Some airlines increased their tickets to as much as 16%. First class seats are being used as marketing tools rather than money makers. Most fliers are contented with business class and most first class passengers are upgrades especially for those who always fly.

Cathay Pacific

Cathay Pacific
Those who fly first class are often for leisure rather than business purposes. There are more than 30 airlines that offer first class amenities. This would include flat beds, small passenger crew ratio and the best meals. There are some airlines that make the airport experience better for passengers. They focus on making the ground experience better compared to flying.

Qatar Airways

Qatar airways give passengers access to separate terminals with marble floors and waterfalls. The lounge has a restaurant, a spa, a sauna and a Jacuzzi. The deluxe factor for fliers includes full size pillows, a mattress, a wool blanket, Bulgari toiletry kits and other amenities. It gives Qatar the distinction of being the best airline in the world.

Things To Do In – Australia vs New Zealand

New Zealand and Australia are the same country, if there is a bridge between the two (yes, people have asked if you can drive between the two countries), and even if they’re joined together.
The list goes on, but one thing is clear – many people don’t realize just how different Australia and New Zealand are from each other.
The only thing they have in common is that they’re far away from the rest of the world, and that the people are very easy-going, laid back and friendly.
So when you’ve gone all the way down for holidays in Australia, you should definitely consider visiting New Zealand as well.

Australia

Australia is world famous for its beaches, surfing, outback and cosmopolitan cities like Sydney – there are so many things to see and do here that you will find it incredibly hard to get bored.

Here are some things that Australia offers…

Great Barrier Reef & Beach Life

A large part of Australia has a tropical climate and some of the most beautiful beaches and clear waters in the world.
The lifestyle on by the coast is all about beach-life, and the warm clear waters are perfect for surfing & diving.
You also have the Great Barrier Reef, a huge coral reef unlike any other in the world, where you can dive and snorkel among exotic fish, corals, sharks and more.
You won’t find anything like this in the cold waters of New Zealand.

Play With Dangerous Animals

When it comes to wild life, Australia and New Zealand are as different as they can be – Australia has more dangerous animals than you could count, while New Zealand doesn’t have any dangerous animals at all.
In Australia you can dive with sharks, go on crocodile safaris and visit numerous places showcasing the creepy spiders and snakes you can find in the bush.
On the flip side, it also has cute koala bears and other cuddly animals.

The Outback

Making a generalization, Australia is a desert country, while New Zealand is a garden – completely different, but equally fascinating.
Australia’s outback is an adventure like no other, with termite mounds tall as houses, cooling gorges, canyons, national parks, and of course the impressive Ayers Rock and Alice Springs.
The sunsets you’ll experience in the red deserts of Australia are breathtaking, and looking out over a huge wide open space of “nothing ness” with a horizon stretching way out in the distance, is a big contrast from the usual “ocean sunsets”.

New Zealand

Despite its small size, on holidays to New Zealand you will find stunning diverse nature with everything from active volcanoes to steep fiords.
It is completely opposite from Australia when it comes to wildlife as well, where many birds naturally evolved into wingless birds because of the absence of predators.

Here are some things that New Zealand offers….

Hot Springs, Volcanoes & Geysers

Bathe in the healing waters of natural hot springs, watch geysers exploding several meters in the air in Rotorua, or dig your own hot water jacuzzi in the sand at Hot Water Beach in Coromandel.
There are many ways to enjoy the hot springs in New Zealand, but whatever you choose you’re up for a fun, unique experience.
While Australia has some hot springs, they’re not famous for them, perhaps because it’s too hot there to enjoy them anyway!
The country also has many dormant and active volcanoes and a volcanic island (White Island), with a beautiful green crater lake.
Ngaruhoe is the volcano featured as Mt. Doom in the Lord Of The Ring Movies.

Glaciers And The Southern Alps

While Australia does have some skiing, it simply can’t compare to the Southern Alps in New Zealand.
Many people are surprised that skiing is even possible in these countries, but the truth is that New Zealand has some amazing glaciers and over a dozen ski fields for you to enjoy.
With much colder water temperatures, New Zealand is not always the best place for water activities, but there are two that truly stand out in all their glory; the incredible fiords in the South Island, and the opportunity to go whale watching.

Most beautiful Piano House in China

                                                     Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park, first established as a federally protected park in 1872, was the first park to reach this status in the United States.

The human history of the Yellowstone region goes back more than 11,000 years. From about 11,000 years ago to the very recent past, many groups of Native Americans used the park as their homes, hunting grounds, and transportation routes. These traditional uses of Yellowstone lands continued until a little over 200 years ago when the first people of European descent found their way into the park. In 1872 a country that had not yet seen its first centennial established Yellowstone as the first national park in the world. A new concept was born and with it a new way for people to preserve and protect the best of what they had for the benefit and enjoyment of future generations.
